Chem 143A safety exam

Hi. Just wondering if anyone knows whether the Chem143A safety exam is anything like the 7L exam? They have a very long handbook up on the website to study for it, and I read most of it and skimmed the rest. Does anyone know if the exam is going to be very specific , requiring a lot of studying for, or should I just go ahead and take it.

it is almost exactly the same as the 7l one.
just go ahead and take it without studying. If you can’t get over 75% on your first try then you have bigger problems to worry about in the first place.

Unless you’re being sarcastic that’s both a stupid suggestion and rude. The answers are not as obvious as most people would think especially if they’ve never been in a lab before. People who don’t pass the exam on the first try don’t necessarily have “bigger problems”.

I agree with KingsElite.

Of course, since it’s open book online, you can have the study guide open for reference too. You probably won’t need it if you read the study guide, but having it there won’t hurt as well. I believe that it’s closed book if you fail it the first time and have to go take it by hand.

Go ahead and take the exam, you’ll do fine. The questions are mostly general (like 7L’s), but there might be a few narrow ones there too.
