<p>i'm taking chem 14A this quarter and instead of taking 14B next quarter i want to take ls 2. are 14A and 14B so related that i should take them sequentially? or is it ok if i take a quarter or two off? </p>

<p>I think you will be fine if you decide to put off on chem14b for a quarter or two. But just remember in order to graduate within four years you need to knock out 14b before entering your sophomore year, which simply means you can either take it in the spring quarter or have to take it during summer session a.</p>
<p>If you don't take it then you would have to wait until winter 2008 to take it because it is not offered in the fall, only 14 bl is offered in the fall. Thta would really delay the process of knocking out your pre-reqs for your major, unless you want to stick around for a fifth year.</p>
<p>im not sure about your reason for putting off chem 14B, but i would assume it would be better to take it next quarter. especially since the 14A material will still be fresh in your head.</p>
