Is there anyone who teaches the course besides Hardinger? (during the school year, i mean)

Hardinger is a very good teacher for Ochem. I took someone else for 14D last summer and I wished I had Hardinger.

In general, Hardinger is the only one that teaches Ochem during the school year.

Hardinger is a good professor, I would recommend him.

take hardinger! if you put in the effort, you're guaranteed an A-, and you'll leave the class feeling more confident about your chem abilities.

I heard his tests are really hard and tricky for this quarter

his f---ing final.

midterm 1: A (mean = 75)
midterm 2: B+ (mean = 74)
final: B- (mean = 50)

Naw, I took his midterm 4 days ago. Its not THAT tricky. All his tricks are evident in his old tests which he posts online. So if you actually do them for practice, in theory, you should be fine. And I actually took the "harder" midterm too. At least according to my chem tutor. There were two versions of the test for the 1st midterm. Version 1 had to define LUMO. Vers 2, mine, had to define Dihedral Angle. This was in the previous test though. I think the things that i messed up on were purely my fault, not because he tried to trick me.

My 14D final was a horror.

I was able to get most of the practice finals right on the first try, and then...his Winter 08 final. dammit.

hmm...hardinger isn't bad at all. just do his thinkbook and you'll do well.
