Chem 1A Fall 2009 Textbook

<p>I was wondering if anyone knows what book Stacy/Majda/Arnold use for their Chemistry 1A class. </p>

<p>I saw some old forums that talked about Chem 1A using “Chemical Principles: The Quest for Insight” by P. Atkins and L. Jones. However, when I was at my CalSO, the book on the shelf for Chem 1A in the student store for Spring 2009 was "Chemistry: A Molecular Approach" by Nivaldo Tro. </p>

<p>Anyone have any ideas?</p>

<p>Spring 2009 used the Atkins/Jones book. The book by Tro is probably for the summer courses. I think you should wait before purchasing a textbook because Stacy and Majda used an entirely different book when they taught Chem 1A last Fall.</p>

system. Both are available at the Campus store. I believe they will also
have a cheap paperback version of the book if you prefer hard copy.</p>
