I heard that Chem 1A's curve is alot better in 2nd semester than 1st semester and Physics 7A is just hard all around. I took AP Chem in HS got Bs and a 2 in the exam cuzz I hated Chem and never bothered to really learn the material. I took AP Physics B and got a 3. I will be taking Math 1A first semester although I took calc in HS already. I honestly can care less about the 2 subjects since my major has more to do with math, IEOR. I learned the two subjects in a superficial manner in HS. I guess I need to change...

Should I just bite the bullet and take Math 1A with Chem 1A?

why are you starting at math 1a? why not jump to 53

I took Chem 1A in the fall, and I thought it was really easy. It’s almost impossible to fail. My roommate took chem 1A in the spring. In the Spring, the average grades are higher, and I think they present the material better. I would personally get chem 1A out of the way as quickly as possible, especially if you need to take chem 3a.

i want a high GPA :)

I thought chem 1a in fall was so hard.

What did you get on your calc ab and bc ap scores? skip 1a/1b. they’re boring

i got a 4 on AB, didnt take BC. tried to over the summer at CC and realized ive been so superficial with all my subjects. I didnt really learn them, I just learned how to be a robot and calculator…

Why exactly are you taking these courses? Are you an engineering major?

He’s a ieor major.
