is gould a much better professor than Pang? im kinda considering if I should take it in later quarters or maybe summer if I can't get a good time for Gould... any suggestions?

im interested in this answer as well...

You're going to have to work your tail off with Pang to get an A. Don't know about Gould. Most of your lab grade will be based on how well you perform the experiments & how close your results are to the real value for your "unknowns". If you do well in lab, & get high Bs on the midterm & final, you'll get an A in the class.

If you end up getting one of the top 3 scores for the midterm, Pang will ask you to come into his office & encourage you to keep up the good work. He'll offer to write a letter of recommendation that's contingent on you getting an A in the class & the final. Don't know if he's changed his policy on this, but that's what he did for me.

gould was pretty easy. i hear horror stories about pang.

ummm does that mean I should just wait until spring for chem 20l instead of getting pang?
