OK I'm gonna be honest, orgo sucks. Anyone who has taken it like last year, how is the first exam? The book does not really explain stuff at all, so I'm trying to find some supplemental stuff to study, but I don't know where to start. Any advice?

Also, all the questions in the course pack... for exam1 are like super hard, I'm not gonna lie. I need a 4.0/A in this class...gah.

Anyone?....

Sorry, but I think most of the people who frequent this forum are aspiring wolverines, not current ones...

Orgo at UM isn't very difficult at all if you just go to lecture, pay attention, and do the coursepacks. You really don't need the textbook, I barely looked at mine throughout 210 and 215 and did fine. The coursepack is, far and away, your most important resource. Try to answer the questions to the fullest before getting answers from your professor and GSI, its the best way to learn the material.

A's are definitely attainable if you just put in the time.

its pretty hard but if you go to class and study a decent amount you should do fine

keep up with the material and it shouldn't be a problem
