Chem 2150 or Phys 1112?

I’m an incoming freshman planning to major in ChemE and I was wondering if it’s better to take chem or physics during my first semester. I have AP credit for chem but not for physics, and I want to take the engineering 3-semester physics plan consecutively. However, Chem 2150 is only offered in the fall, so I’m debating over which class to start off with. Would it be sane of me to take both first semester while still meeting freshman requirements (math, engri, pe, fws)? After Chem 2150 I’m really hoping to go right into the next recommended chem class in the progression as well.

If you’re taking chem 2150 you have to take it freshman year - that’s part of the honors track in chemistry, which is pretty rigid with timing since the spring semester after goes right into honors orgo I. Can’t say anything about physics.
