<p>For the first synthesis I put Friedel Crafts Acylation to put on the carbons than used LAH to make an anion oxygen and than H+/H2O. For the second one I made a Diels-Alder than ozonolysis. What about you guys?</p>

<p>made the double bond grab an I and make an allylic cation then switch it to trans and make another I take the I away and remake the double bond hahaha. no idea if that’s right.</p>

<p>make the BF3 just fall off at the end so you get an alcohol? or is that completely wrong.</p>
<p>I used the O-BF3 bond to take the hydrogen, just like the Cl-AlCL3 bond takes away the H to regain aromaticity in the ring.</p>
