Chem 3B New teacher New final exam group

Hey Guys,

I'm guessing you guys noticed we have a new professor for Chem 3B next semester. They also changed the final exam group to 10 which is the exam group for all elementary foreign languages including

Spanish 1, 2, 3,4, 5, 8
Greek
Latin
French
German
Dutch
Italian
Arabic
Hebrew
Persian
Turkish
Scandinavian
Slavic Languages
Portuguese
+ some more

I'm taking Spanish so I emailed the professor and the coordinator (both of whom said make arrangements with the other teacher... which isn't gunna happen most likely). If you're taking one of the classes and have a final exam conflict you should email
coordinator (Lucia Briggs) and the the professor (Viernes) so they know it's an issue.

mmk that's it :)

oh and if you know anyone who this might apply to, let them know! thanks!

Vollhardt should just give up teaching and go back to writing textbooks.

Did you like Vollhardt’s book? Everybody is split into two extremes regarding his book. I’m in the “I hate his book to death because it’s confusing and unclear” camp.

Surprisingly, Stanford also uses Vollhardt’s book for ochem.

I thought it was fairly well-written. I didn’t know about Stanford using it. That’s pretty amusing.

I prefer Wade.

final exam group changed t0 10? But if I’m not mistaken, it was 10 since Fall schedule came out last semester.
