Chem 6A Professor Help!!

Ahhhh I honestly can’t believe I’m currently writing this, as last year I dreamed about getting accepted to UCSD and now it’s a reality. :’) Hi everyone, this is mainly directed towards current students, but all insight is appreciated! I’m currently looking at the Chem 6A professors and I do not know who the exactly choose. The professors teaching for the upcoming Fall 2017 quarter are:

Thomas Bussey
Christina Johnson
Tin Yiu Lam
Sandrine Bernoilles
John Crowell

I have heard some very MIXED reviews to say the least about Johnson and that her midterms/final are killers. Likewise, I’ve heard Bussey is an amazing teacher but his tests are ALL free response and there is no curve. Have not heard anything about Lam, but RateMyProfessor showed positive reviews. For Bernoilles, I read that she comes from the French testing system, which makes her exams quite difficult to say the least. Finally, I have heard that Crowell is only an average professor and many students did not seem to like him.

In all, if anyone could pleeeaseee help me out on who to choose, I would greatly appreciate it! I know I may be getting a bit ahead, but I want to prepare myself before I embark on this college journey.
