Hellooo, I'm planning on taking CHEM7L this summer session I and I'm literally stuck between taking one (difficult) class and not receiving financial aid, or adding an upper division psych class (PSYC157 to cover a GE) in order to qualify for financial aid. I was wondering if anyone has taken CHEM7L during the summer with another class and whether it was doable, or if it's recommended to just focus on CHEM7L by itself and make the out-of-pocket money spent on that one class worth it? Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated! =)

Chem 7L during the summer is NOT harder than during the school year. But if you’re naturally inclined to goof off during the summer (WOOHOO SUMMER BREAK!!!) and spend all your free time at the beach … then it’s your problem. :)

Take the extra class and enjoy the financial aid. Just be disciplined and don’t slack off.
