Chem and Bio SAT II

Okay. So I was wondering: how many people on here took the Bio SAT II w/o taking the AP? And how did they score, and how did they study?

Also, for Chem, I'm taking the AP now, and I was wondering whether it's bad to take it when you haven't had the full AP. (We're on gas laws, finished molarity.)

If you can relate to any of the above, how did you study, and how did you do on the tests?

bump-bump-bumpity

Well, I've only taken Chem Honors and 1 quarter of Chem 1A (college chem- sorta like Chem AP). I think that was enough for the test. I just had to study some stuff I never learned like Ksp, and the rest I've learned before.

Since you're taking AP concurrently, it might be easier for you though. But it also may save studying time if you took it after the AP test.

Well, anyway, I hope that helped.

You can make up for it by running through every single practice test extant.

Or you could go buy GCE A level questions on similar topics, or any similar questions and really spam them.

You will want a full year of AP chem behind you for the Chem, unless you feel like a ton of self-study. take 7457654 practice tests (I did 12 and got an 800)

I took it after honors bio, not AP. I only got a 690, which I guess is okay because I took it as a freshman. I took SAT II chemistry after Honors Chem, I got a 780. I used the sparknotes review book.
