Do you know why the reaction for "A sample of calcium carbonate is heated" and "Sulfur dioxide gas is bubbled through water" would have no reactions? b/c i got some products but the answer key says there are no reactions.....

<p>CaCO3 –> CaO + CO2 </p>
<p>SO2 + H2O –> H2SO3</p>
<p>Calcium carbonate should indeed decay to calcium oxide and carbon dioxide when you heat it. There really is no reaction for the second one though; sodium dioxide dissolves in water, but it doesn’t form H2SO3.</p>
