I just changed my major to Biochem/chem. I am taking phys 2D chem 140C, chem 143A and a filler class. Could someone please tell me if it is possible to get good grades with phys 2D and ochem together?
Also how good is chem 100A in summer? Is it better to take it during regular quarter?

Chem 100A is easier than Chem 140C and Chem 143A

I TAed Chem 100A both in summer and during the regular school year. Summer was easier on everyone involved, but the class is by no means difficult during the school year. Chem 143A is more time-consuming in terms of writeups, and I thought that 140C was easier than A or B. (Granted, Tor is the awesomest ochem professor ever)

This is sort of a silly question. It’s possible to get good grades in any of your classes if you take the study to study a little bit every day and are serious about it. Maybe that’s not helpful, but in questions like these, you’re going to know yourself a lot better than we will. Your best option would be to try it out for a while and if it’s too much, drop a class.

@ chemeng66, @astrina and @$KingsElite$ -> Thank you so much for replying :)

If who I think is teaching 2D is teaching it, the class shouldn’t be hard. My friend had her for physics before and she said her quizzes were straightforward and pretty easy. My other friend who finished org chem said 140C was probably the easiest of the 3 and I bet it helps to have Albizati (not sure if you do). It does sound like 143A takes up a lot of time though, so be mentally prepared to spend a lot of time on your studies this quarter. I bet you can do well though!
