I am an incoming freshman (LSA), and I received a 3 on the AP Chem exam during my junior year. Apparently, I can get credit if I do well on the placement exam? Is the credit granted upon success on the placement exam or do I need to do well on the placement exam AND successfully complete the higher chem class to receive my credits?

@yikesyikesyikes sorry but per the attached, I believe you need a 4 or 5 to get the credit. I don’t believe the placement exam has any bearing.
@wayneandgarth but it says “3 hours for Chemistry 130 and 2 hours for Chemistry 125(1)/126(1) if placed into Chem 210, 211 by taking placement exam during orientation” For an exam score of “3”.
Credits may be offer by placement exam depending on subject and the department. I believe the OP is correct on that.
