chem engineer major, need advice on classes.

Ok basically, what I mainly need help with is the MAE 9 class. I've heard from a lot of people that if you have never done programming in your life, you are f**ked on so many levels for this class. Is this true? and if that is the case, is it ok if I take CSE 8A instead?

My current classes that I plan to take for fall are:

MATH 20C
CHEM 6A or 6B (I have to see what's open -_-)
Warren Writing
CSE 8A or MAE 9

EDIT Umm.. I guess it turns out, I have to take MAE 9. Can anyone share some insight?

i dont want 2b ****ed on so many levels... NOOOO

better start studying now!!

helpful bump~! : )

mae 9 isnt that hard..whos your prof?

you just have to go to class, take your laptop, there are labs every week to help you out..the ta's are wonderful

start your quizzes or midterms early and when they become available..dont wait until the day before, then its like impossible

are there any alternatives to mae 9?
