Chem Engineering CSU LB or Pomona ?

i have been accepted in both schools, but i as leaning towards LB and my family and friends tell me to go to Pomona . what should i do and please give reasons or any 411 u might know about these schools

Pomona seems like it would be better for you major, but it is really up to you. You may like the atmosphere at Long Beach more. The best advice I can give is to pick the college which you would be most comfortable attending.

Out of the three CSUs that carry ChemE I’d rank them as such,

Cal Poly Pomona

Long Beach State

San Jose State

Cal Poly Pomona has a “application of knowledge” approach which means it is definitely more hands-on and better in today’s economy. My son got an internship this summer as a process engineer at Chevron in El Segundo, CA. I’ll ask him more about ChemE and get back to you.

Good Luck!

@ mariagonzales, i would most appreciate ur sons take on cpp . this is a difficult choice to make
