OTHER
Gender: Male
Race: Asian
Income Bracket: ~200,000
Intended Major: Engineering (Chemical)
Weaknesses: Being Asian Middle Class male in engineering, SAT could be better, No “research internships” or major awards, no real music, not engineer-heavy stats
Hooks: sorry

Will the fact that I don’t have any “research internships” or prestigious summer programs (or any worthwhile summer activity at all) hurt me a lot? Thank you!

Burmp

I think your chances are average. Male COE admit is one of toughest on campus.

Your stats look pretty good, although it’s a tough admit. Make your essay shine.

the badminton is what stands out to me reading through your stats. I’d leverage those experiences to write a great essay featuring what would appear to be your passion. The test scores are obviously right in there with others, so make your essay be what is representative of “you”.
