Chem Engineering with a BioMed minor?

Hey all!

I am a junior in high school who got tired of being asked what I want to do when I get older. Honestly, it ticked me off. So I went to the internet. I love science and math, so I researched careers that used science and math. Medicine came up a lot. Then I saw engineering, and it looked into it. The problem solving aspects of engineering intrigued me. The next day, one of my parents' friend asked the question. I felt good to say that I am interested in engineering. Then, he asked me what kind. I was stumped. So, again I went to the internet. SO MANY TYPES. I looked at them all, and the ones that stuck out most were chemical and biomedical. Is it possible to major in chem engineering with a minor in biomedical? Do they overlap well? Or would I be able to go for a masters in BM with my bachelors in chem eng?

Thank you all in advance!

Sincerely,
Confused High School Student

I would instead do one for undergraduate, and one for graduate school.
If you like chemistry and physics a lot, do chemE at undergraduate. It can be a very good major because it opens a wider choice of career path. If you still want to do medical, you can do it at graduate level.

Yes you certainly can.
A liberal art can get into engineering master program - just complete some pre-requisites (actually quite a lot).
But you are good, maybe one or two classes???
