Chem Major Questions

hey guys, and tia for all ur help

im a registered bio major right now, but im also planning on doubling in chem. however, during the orientation, i went to all the bio help sessions cause i completely forgot the demands for chem. my main question is: do i have to take math 31a over again as a chem major if you got a 5 on the calc ab ap test. for bio majors u have to pass on to 31b if u got a 5 on the calc ab ap test.

the reason i asked was because for engineering majors, math 31a is required course for all, even if you obtained a 5 on the calc ab ap test (according to my friend). im just wondering if this applies to chem majors also..

No, it doesn't apply. The general requirements and regulations are based on the college/school. Since biology and chemistry are within the College (L&S), the same rules apply. Engineering majors are part of HSSEAS.

but for premeds, general rule is to retake courses bypassed w/ ap credit that are mandates for med school? (bio, gen chem, etc) right?
