Math 121 seems more relevant to chem and other physical sciences based on the course title, but Engineering 117 is also listed as an allied course in the College of Chemistry catalog. It looks like 117 focuses on applying partial differential equations to real situations while 121 includes other types of math aside from differential equations (which is 121B). Anyone know which would be more useful for understanding chemical processes? Chem major BTW, not ChemE. Thanks.

Do not take E117 this fall with Professor Stiegmann. Take my word and don’t even bother about it.
