I'm currently looking at possible classes to take for my freshmen year this upcoming fall. I only have to take either chemistry or physics and I'm not sure which to take. I hear physics is super hard at the U. But I took accelerated physics (using a college textbook) in high school, but not accelerated chemistry, so naturally I thought "why not just take physics? It will be like a review basically."

id say physics-i love the subject.

It’s really a double edged sword. I had several friends in IT who took Physics and would never stop complaining how hard it is. However, I have heard Chem. isn’t a walk in the park either. I’d suggest just taking Physics since you already took it in high school.

I think it really depends on what you go into. My major requires both, but if you only have to take one maybe you should just go with whichever fits into your schedule best, or which you would have more fun learning.
