Hello everyone,
I had a quick question regarding the UIUC chem placement test. If I took the AP Chemistry test in 10th grade and got a 5 on it, does my score on the chem placement test matter because I'm going to get credit anyways. I will be a CS major.

No, your score on the placement test won’t matter. Low placement test scores don’t take away credit earned through AP tests. As a CS major, you won’t need to take any additional chemistry courses; the lab requirement (Chem 103) is waived if you get AP credit for Chem 102 (the lecture). That said, the chemistry placement exam is ridiculously easy (mostly stoichiometry).
