Chem required for engineering student?

<p>I am currently attending Georgia State University and am going to transfer to Georgia Tech into the electrical engineering program. I am confused on what chemistries to take. I already took chem 1211 and I was wondering if I needed to take chem 1212. Will chem 1211 count as a credit toward chem 1310 at Georgia Tech or do I also need to take chem 1212? </p>

<p>I have heard but this is in no way official that you need both 1211 and 1212 to count, otherwise you have to take 1310, because apparently 1310 is a little more than 1211… or something. I know this isn’t very helpful ><</p>

<p>I have heard that 1310 is being phased out. If it really is, there will obviously be changes to the chemistry requirements for the majors that currently require it.</p>
