Should I take the Chem SAT II if I already got a 770 on the Physics one last year? Is it really necessary?

It depends on where you are applying and which programs. Some schools require chemisty for specific programs and some accept physics and biology.

An example of where chemistry is needed is HPME at Northwestern.

i want to go to HYPS or any school of that caliber

It does nt have much to do with caliber of the school, more specific to programs in the school.

If you see the list no one specifies chemistry as a required test. It does nt mean you should nt take it either.

Im just worried that if I do get a bad score that I’ll have to send it to schools such as Yale and Stanford because of their neglecting of score choice

can you choose which subject test to send? they wouldn’t be able to find out if u hid a really bad score right?

not for certain schools that require you to send all scores
