im a sophmore and i just took the satII, which was probably not a smart thing to do considering i did not take AP chem. BUt they only offer AP chem at my school senior year, so i wasnt sure when i would be able to take it and I wanted to take it right after i took the class. i got in the low 600s which is not good at all..should i restudy and then retake it? also what other sats would you recommend for someone who wants to go into medicine. thank you

Well what you do is ask yourself, am I happy with a low 600s? If not then restudy and retake to make yourself satisfied. For someone who wants to go into medicine, you should consider taking bio SAT II.

thank you. will it look bad for colleges to take the test twice or no?

The exact same thing happened to me....I took the SAT Chem as a sophmore and I wasn't really that prepared. I got a 620. DON"T WORRY! Instead of self-studying for chemistry, Just take AP Bio next year and then nail the SAT II bio. That's what I did and I got a 740 in Bio. ( just fine by me) Take bio along with Math IIc and you'll be set!

kellig21, taking the test over will not look bad. Just make sure to not take it again after that.

what if next year I am supposed to take physics as my science course and they only offer AP Bio Senior year?
