Chem was easy

I think I did a lot better on that test than I had expected. The only thing that threw me off a lot was the solubility rules stuff. I can't for the life of me remember them.

yeah, I guess you guys are right..a lot of kids in my class thought it was easy, too, and virtually none of them are intellegent.

What's usually the percentage for a 5? Was this year's exam harder or easier than previous year's? Does the curve change drastically from year to year?

That AP exam was the biggest joke. Ever.

I could have done neither of the "choose one" essays and still gotten a 5.

The FR was actually the easiest chemistry evaluation I have had all year. I've done practice which were harder, and all of my teacher's tests were harder.

The multichoice was the only part that required any thought at any point. I may have gotten 5 wrong. 10 tops.

This exam was stupid. I actually laughed out loud during the test when I saw the last essay question. (Element Q)

I agree with devilsdounut. Many schools out there have extremely poor AP programs with very little emphasis on labs and concepts. Many people in my class found the test to be difficult because our class has never done anything with old exams in the past.

it wasn't THAT easy imo. it wasn't that bad-the multiple choice was kinda weird but the F.R. was aight, #2, AP Equations, and #7 were cake to me but the other ones i can't be too sure

did people get a lot of D's for MC?

yeah i got like 4 D's in a row at one point! yess this is good haha

lol same here, it was near the start too! like 3 d's then like 4. I was like uh..

hey,

we are not supposed to talk about it.

yeah i got mad D's...

still, I didn't think the test was a flat out joke.

but then again, CCers certainly do not reflect the average AP Chem test-taker hehe.

I cannot count rows in the periodic table.

Q_Q

I didn't do that one (stupidly!) and I messed up 4 pts on number 7!

yeah, i got 4 d's also! this is a good sign, people :) (it was in the first or second column, right?)

but yeah... there are like 3 topics on this... haha.

haha yeah I'm just alternating back and forth between the ~5 ap chem threads lol.

MC: it was okay, slightly easy, I think I got 80% of them right, i left 6 blank.

Free Resposne: Reactions were easy, #1, #3, #7 were all easy, i think I got 100% on that. #5 and #6 were hard, probably got half credit.

Any ideas on my score?

Post what you guys get in about 2 months :)

ya i got like a row of ds like 4 or 5 in the first column.. lotsa ds

I think I managed a four too.
The MC will kill me.

FR. The Part I. I know I got close to full credit.
Part II. The lab one will kill me. But the others? Heh. Cake.

ok, i have taken dozens of collegeboard tests, and none of them in my career had 4 answers in a row. they probably have a policy against it. so im guessing some of you guys are wrong.
