Chem

How are u guys gonna study for ap chem in the last 2 days?

princeton review ;p;

Hey i had a question on the MC . I heard people say ~50/75 is a 5, but i was wondering if its a mid 5, a low 5 or a high 5. I just took a past AP exam(1999) and got 49 pts. Am i pretty safe, or am i gonna have to work my butt of for the next 2 days?

doesn't the 1999 answer sheet have a chart of what percentage of people within a score range got a 5? Like mine says that 83% of the ppl with between 46 and 75 on the MC got a 5. But a small percentage of ppl with below 46 also got 5

The correlation charts are available, like fast27 says, but the ranges are fairly broad. Typically, 65% on the test overall is the bottom end of the 5 range. Therefore 50/75 on MC is marginal, depending on whether you typically do better or worse on the FR.

Oh okay. THe packet my teacher gave me did not have the scoring guidlines. Looks like i am going to have to work harder now to get a safe 5

princeton says if you get 35/75, you will prob get a 3=]]]]

I am just going to memorize the solubility rules, and memorize the colors of ions in solution, precipitates, and flame tests. (theres usually a few MC questions on those.

Saving that for Monday night though...

Is there any good online set of flame, precipitate and ion colors?

yeah any sites for colors? flame tests?

and solubility rules or VSEPR charts?

ya I agree with the questions above, all i got is my lab notebook on it, and i left that in my locker :'</p>

BTW, Im preppin with Barrons AP, I like it so far, I started yesterday after school and Im about a little more than 2/3rds done with the 460pages of review, then i gotta take the PracTests

online site for colors and flame tests is SparkNotes. Dead Useful.

thanks, i will def be using that

My teacher handed those out to us, or they're in my lecture notes. Wait a sec and I'll scan them and post them here.
