Chem6A dilemma

I'm waitlisted on Chem6A in a decent spot, number 5.

The discussion time is at 5-6pm.

However a Korean language prof. just e-mailed me saying I can take her class as a freshman (JR/SR class). I'm pretty sure it clears the Revelle language requirement too.

The only bad thing is that the Korean class conflicts with my discussion time for Chem 6A.

Should I drop Chem and be waitlisted on another discussion time for like 12th-13th on the waitlist, or should I just wait and take the Korean class next quarter?

I heard that you can just stay in Chem for now and see if you get in and you can switch to Korean class later. I dont think it’ll be full

I really want that Korean class though, hmm, and the only way I can get in is to move my Chem class around… But being that far down the waitlist will probably lead me to not getting in that class! I guess I should just stay in my chem class until they open up more sections, maybe it’ll free up the waitlists to single digits.

or you can email your professor, explain your dilemma, and just attend another chem section for your lecture.
