ChemE at UT Austin vs. UC Berkeley

I'm in a dilemma here - guaranteed ChemE at UT Austin or undeclared at UC Berkeley and I'd have to risk transferring into ChemE at Berkeley and possibly getting rejected. UC Berkeley's my top choice but UT Austin is an amazing school itself, so I'm in a big dilemma here.

Anyone know which program's harder? Are job offers similar? If I want to get into the business side of the biopharma or oil or biofuel industries, which is best for that? I plan on getting an MS+MBA in the future if that's pertinent.

If you are set on ChemE, I’d go to UT with guaranteed admission… I’ve been to both schools, used to live just north of Berkeley, and I preferred Austin.

You can always go to UCB for grad school.
