<p>Boston, Research Triangle Park (RTP) in North Carolina, and New Jersey are probably the biggest biotech hotbeds on the east coast.</p>

<p>You could definitely do Biotech or Nanotech with a ChemE degree. </p>
<p>The curriculum (at least at my school is geared toward) Nanotech or Pharmaceutical Applications as technical electives. My sister’s in a ChemE program and she’s taking the latter. </p>
<p>At my school, it’s harder for a BME major to take Nanotech because we need to take extra classes to take the course.</p>
