I attend a small competitve engineering magnet school, where all classes are taught at an honors level. My course load is not the HARDEST possible, but the school sort of puts you into a “track” based on middle school courses and placement tests, and once you’re there it’s tough to get further.

SAT: 2110 (700CR/710M/700W)
SAT II: 730 Chem, 740 Math2
ACT: 32 Comp.
GPA: 3.82 UW - my highest grades are in the sciences. School doesn’t rank.
AP/AP Courses: My school limits the number you can take. 5 on Chem, 4 on Environmental Science, and 3 on Statistics.

My essays were pretty decent, and I think my recommendations should be really good - the teachers liked me and I did very well in their classes.

Other than that, I have pretty normal ECs. Chemistry Club, Environmental Club, some volunteering, and tutoring in 4 subjects. No sports though.

Obviously these chances threads are ridiculous, and I feel rather stupid posting, but I’m very nervous!

Your chances look really good. Your gpa and sat scores are what they look at first and yours are great. I don't think you need to worry at all. But you will anyway, right?
The "chances" thing is just that, chances. At least you aren't paying for someone to give you your "chances".

admitted students: SAT verbal 620-720, SAT math 650-740, ACT 29-32
enrolled students: SAT verbal 600-680, math 630-710, ACT 27-30

i dont think bucknell cares too much about the writing component of the new SAT. (critical reading = verbal, by the way). as you can see, your scores are quite good for bucknell. & bucknell chem.Eng. is quite highly ranked, so its a good thing to study here. ( i am an electrical engr. , by the way)
