Chemical Engineering Graduate School, Undergrad at UC Berkeley

<p>Hey guys,</p>

<p>I'm an undergrad. at UC Berkeley with around a GPA:3.0 majoring in chemical engineering (chmE GPA is slightly lower). I have 2 semesters left before I graduate. I was wondering what I should do with my life. Do I have any chance of making it into a graduate school because the requirements for a lot of the graduate schools are .. well above a 3.0. Masters Programs//phD Programs that I can apply to and have a chance of getting into for ChemE?</p>

<p>Our classes average about a B+/B/B- (2.8-2.9) for chemE, so I think I'm about average if I keep up the progress. And, the kids here are incredibly smart in my opinion (b/c Berkeley is ranked high for chmE, so I think it attracts the smarter students)... Now I'm thinking I should've just studied harder... or gone to an easier school..</p>

<p>I have worked in 3 labs so far. Will take GREs after I graduate b/c I can keep working in the lab after I graduate. For all those average chemE students out there, please help D:</p>

<p>What are your reasons for graduate school? That you’ve worked in three labs tells me that you may not have really gone deep enough into a research project to be sure that you want to go to grad school. Remember that the median starting salary from Berkeley ChE bachelor’s holders is about $60,000 per year, which is pretty good.</p>
