My son says that in college, he would like to major in Chemical Engineering and play baseball. We'd be looking at D III baseball. I don't know much about colleges that offer engineering degrees. Don't you need to go to a big D I school to major in Chemical Engineering? No rush for your responses - he is an 8th grader. :-)

The best school, which is Div III in baseball and offers chemical engineering, is John Hopkins University. Many of Div III schools are unknown or do not offer chemical engineering. Your son has a lot of time to do a research and maybe he will probably change his plans:))

What about MIT?

:)

Is it Div III baseball? I probably overlooked MIT, oops.

Have him look into the University Of Rochester. KNown for their sciences,it is an excellent school with one of the better D-3 baseball programs.
