Chemical engineering programs

Hi, I'm new to college searches and we are looking in the NY, NJ, PA areas. Any suggestions? My son would like a smaller school and these searches are driving me mad.

Lehigh and Princeton are in your 3 state area, are relatively small in student population, about 5,000 undergraduates each and pretty good in ChE.

same with Bucknell and Lafayette but don’t know how good their ChE programs are

My youngest is a hs junior and also looking at Chem E.

On his list are Clarkson, Cornell, Univ. of Rochester, and University of Buffalo. My eldest attends Stevens Institute of Tech in Hoboken, which has a very good Chem Eng program.

This link is to ABET accredited programs. ABET is the recognized accreditor for college and university programs in applied science, computing, engineering, and technology. You can filter by program and state.

Good luck!

Consider MIT! MA is not that far.

RPI might be worth a look.
