I am a HS Junior who is interested in SUNY UB for majoring in chemical engineering. My highest SAT composite is 2050, (660 reading, 720 math, and 670 writing all from one test date), my weighted GPA is a 3.6/4, I am in full honors/AP classes, and I am very busy with extra curricular activities. Do I have a shot into getting in SUNY UB for chemical engineering?

You’ll get in without a problem.

You’re good. My S has similar numbers - you’ll likely be eligible for scholarship $$ too. Good luck!

Yes, without doubt! You’ll also qualify for honors which comes with some decent perks (and allows you to schedule before other students, a huge plus!).

You should get in.

My son is a freshman in engineering and is very happy at Buffalo. Difficult schedule but doing very well.

yea crazed I think I spoke to you before about your son. How does he like the engineering dpmt? Is he doing undergrad reasearch there? Also what scholarship money did he recieve?

would also like to hear feedback as dtr decided to attend Buffalo for ChemE
