hi guys,
i was recently admitted into ucsd as a transfer, and their offering me a spot at the chemical engineering table for fall 2007. It is possible for me to graduate in two years if i attend.
I looked on ratemyprofessors.com and found that many (if not all) of the chemical engineering professors are hard, nasty and mean. I dont want to go there if its like that!

So how is the chemical engineering program at ucsd? and do they treat you well there?

I also got admitted into ucla as a chemistry major

So what would be best?

Chemistry @ UCLA or Chemical Engineering @ UCSD?

Your always gonna meet mean profs lol.. so just deal with it, with that aside, some say the academic atmosphere at SD is more "chill", not necessarily meaning the workload is easier (I'd actually think its HARDER, because SD is climbing the rankings and such faster while the top schools are staying stagnate). But the students don't go crazy when you ask em for help or things like that.

I guess it depends on your intended future career right?
ChemE has a lot more job opportunities compared to chem...
anyway I want to know more about chemE as well...since I'm planning on majoring that as well...can anyone help?
