chemical engineering: uw madison vs. UofM (minnesota)

Just wondering if anyone out there goes to either of these colleges for ChE? Any info you'd like to share along, what makes your school "better"?

UW has more of a great college feel. Better (much) school spirit, State Street, Union Terrace, and so on. Both are top ChE depts.

Since both reportedly have good Chem E depts consider the rest of the campus. Also, UW has a great Chemistry dept- where you will take your beginning courses. There are students from both MN and WI who have definite feelings pro/con each school. Pick the campus you like most regardless of your major. Here, we of course have a UW bias, for many reasons.

Yea you neither will give you much advantage over the other in terms of prestige of the degree - they’re both basically as good as you can get for chemical engineering. Choose which school you like most.
