Chemical Engineering vs Biomedical Engineering

I am currently majoring in Mechanical Engineering and really quite honestly hate physics. I like the Chemistry class i have taken in the past and really enjoy the one i am currently in, i also enjoy calculus and am currently in Calculus 2. I took a dual credit CAD class in high school and thoroughly enjoyed it. I chose mechanical engineering because it had a specialization in design which i enjoy and I did not research the classes i would need to take for each major thus i did not know that almost every single class a mechanical engineer has to take is physics. I am considering changing to either Chemical or Biomedical engineering and wanted to know the pros and cons of both. I like to design and build stuff, solve problems, and want a career that in the long run will be fun, challenging, rewarding, and not become repetitive and tiresome.

Any opinion would be helpful but I would prefer professional opinions from people in either career field. I want to know the pros and cons of each career, which is harder/easier, which is more diverse, and which would have more job opportunities when i graduate in 4-5 years.
