So I have an interest in Chemistry and Architecture, so it seems like Chemical Engineering is a good mix between the two. I have decent, not that good, but decent grades in HS right now, taking vigorous classes, I may add. Do I have a chance in the chemical engineering line of work?
Chemical Engineering is not really close to Architecture and the Chemistry in it is relatively limited. One could argue that there is just as much Physics in Chemical Engineering.
Whether you have a chance in this field is up to how well you do in college. That is a long way away but you need to be very strong in mathematics to succeed in Chemical Engineering. For the moment, focus on your math in HS and that will help you determine if engineering is a good direction for you.
