I am a high school senior(in-state) who is looking to get into chemical engineering at UT. I have a 31 ACT composite I took another one but am waiting on that score.

And over the summer I also participated at an engineering camp at Rose-Hulman where my group worked with professors and created Dye-Synthesized Solar Cells to power a miniature greenhouses irrigation system that we designed.

I know my stat’s aren’t stellar, I’m just hoping for a chance

@Raideratheart ChemE at UT is very, very competitive. I won’t speculate on your chances because many highly qualified, auto-admit Class of 2019 students did not get into ChemE. Make a careful choice for your second choice major because it’s possible you will get it. Write strong essays and get good letters of recommendation. Good luck.

P.S. If you’re a Raider at heart, maybe you should consider Texas Tech.

Nah that’s my schools mascot. But thank you
