<p>Hey i was choosing a chem 102 class and wondering which profs were preferable... i see four options: List, Lukeheart, Phillips, and Todd. Any preferences? can i get tha deetz? thanks!</p>
<p>Don’t know about Lukeheart and Todd, but List and Phillips are good. They have completely different teaching styles so you may want to consider that. </p>
<p>List reminded me of a high school chemistry teacher - kinda goofy and absentminded but knew what he was talking about and didn’t bog you down with excess information. His class is probably one of the more interesting due to his personality.</p>
<p>Phillips was more straightforward in his approach. Class never strayed far from the outlined topics and sometimes his presentation style was a bit bland (also probably had to do with the fact that I had him at 8am). Overall he was a good professor and helpful during office hours.</p>
<p>To be honest i think all the chem 102A professors were really boring. But i would recommend lukehart or phillips. List is really boring as his class was 8 am first semester. Phillips is pretty straight forward and if you go to his lecture and concentrate its an easy A-. (1st semester final was ridiculously hard due to high average on midterms)</p>
<p>Lukehart is ridiculously(?) nice and i went to his review session couple times tho he gives bunch of crap that will not appear on the test.</p>
<p>I really like phillips but a lot of people hated hiim because of his pompous(?) behavior, so i recommend just choose according to your schedule flexibility and figure out afterwards during the semester.</p>
