Chemistry 1410 Books?

How necessary is the ebook for chemistry 1410? . Also, how is the iclicker used? and is it worth the purchase?

The Iclicker is required for several larger classes. You can buy one and use for other classes.

You can buy the textbook used and the internet access card new. For science classes, most people prefer a physical book instead of an ebook.

iClickers are used in class so each student can log answers to questions the professor asks, which have been part of power point-type multiple choice “quizzes” in my experience. In the classes that I’ve used the iClicker in, our responses were not graded for correctness, but they were used so the professor could gauge class comprehension. Results are tallied instantaneously and as such can be discussed immediately. They were also used for attendance-taking purposes because each clicker is registered to a student by name, so the professor will be able to look up whether you were in class to respond to questions. If the prof uses it for an attendance/participation grade then it’s a must; if money’s an issue you should email the prof and ask how (s)he plans to use it and if its a mandatory material.

Thank you!
