Chemistry 2010 Exam

Yeah I screwed up some stuff too haha

yeah nobody has gotten a 5 on the exam either lol
BUT only like 3 people take it every year hahaha
every one gets 3’s or 4’s
I think I’m a 4 lol
If I’m realllllly lucky…I got a 5 hahaha

Ugh ■■■ I messed up on peroxide products
ANd for the part 2’s of the reactions
I put
basic indicator
acidic
-1 for oxidation state of oxygen
+1 for hydrogen state (forgot which one it asked)

I put the wrong product on one too hahaha oh well

^ and that was a DUMB mistake Lmao
it was no wonder I couldn’t balance quickly
I just went on and didn’t come back :frowning:
oh well…I’m happy with that part lol
got over 2/3 of it haha

What did you put for the part 2’s for the reactions?

same things you did! haha

muwahahah we’re gna get 5’s!!!

you think?? lol
that would be AWESOME!!!
I only need a 4 hahaha but nobody has made a 5 before…that would be sweeeeet
I mean I’m hoping for like 45 MC…and like 35-40 points on FR

Hopefully the curvature will be moderate and not low!
But usually only 15% of students get 5’s? That’s good right?

Did all of you study with a secondary book like Barrons? I wish I would of done the Princeton Review book, the Barrons one didn’t explain anything very well. I was looking it over yesterday and they were able to pull numbers and put them in the equation some how.

Booooo, I’m in Honors Chem (school has no AP sciences) and our incompetent teacher is just finishing gas laws LOL.

Thoughts on the kinetics FRQ?
I thought it was the easiest out of the 3 -_-

I saw The Fight Club too :)

Yes!. That’s what I used, and the test was a breeze. They really were amazing (I used the 2009 version, which was ALMOST the exact same as the 2010). I studied with a kid who had the 2010 version and we even had the same questions/practice tests. At first I was using Barron’s but then switched because they way overdid it. They just fixed a couple mistakes from the 2009 version, most notable the wrong designation of the equivalence point on the graph of a titration of a weak acid with a strong base

yeah trueeee lol
yeah that’s not bad I don’t think
Well last year it was 18%!
And like 100,000 took it lol
so 18,000 people made a 5!
That sounds pretty good to me haha

I used Princeton Review and it did help in the class and in the exam…somewhat
I think princeton review booklets are more student friendly than the complicated and thorough analyses of the barrons book…

I used some book that has no brand! haha
our chem teacher bought them to use for kids who take the AP exams
the practice exams in it were much harder than today’s questions though lol
it was a pretty good book : P

i cant believe you were all stupid enough to actually discuss FRQ the same day of the test…

even just saying what it is kind of about…

collegeboard has cancelled some scores before from CC members who talked about the test

Yesterday we finished nuclear decay in our class ■■■■■

mc was soo easy

anyone think that the problems on the mc were a lot like the ones found in the 1999 mc version? I took it the day before the chem ap test (at like 3 am lol) and i saw a lot of similar problems
