<p>Not great on quizzes… probably like a 75% average ugh.</p>
<p>Having lab on wednesday afternoons was pretty annoying - never felt like going to lab lecture later and it was about the lab we had already done anyway. And my GSI was a hard grader and tried to be unhelpful and refuse to even answer simple questions directly. Like anytime I emailed him with a question, he had to phrase every sentence in a question. It’s pretty funny actually.</p>
<p>And you guys turned in your Suzuki labs already?</p>
<p>I used the suzuki lab as my drop lab because I thought it was gonna be hard.</p>

but you have two entire weeks to do it…</p>
<p>^Flutter do you by any chance have Terence Choy? I went to his OH and he seemed to do that. His response to my question was another question and he seems like a ***** for details.</p>
<p>Dude seriously I asked him about that NMR question during lab and he just reads the question to me, word for word then says “Do your best”… like ok thanks **** you.</p>

<p>Hahaha yeah I just went in. Took the quiz and left to enjoy the rest of my day. BTW it seemed stupid to do every lab since I would probably only gain 1 extra point.</p>
<p>HAHHAHAHHA! I know! I asked him if this NMR peak corresponded to a hydrogen and he then started to rant about the mathematical theory behind NMR and the use of calculus behind it. In my head I was just like w t f just give me the answer like the other GSIs.</p>

<p>Yeah so glad lab is over. Like I’m holding a beaker and ask “so we’re taking the top layer out right?” and he starts looking for a pen to draw out the reaction mechanism and tries to guide me to the answer by asking 1000 questions. All you need to say is “yes thats right” UGH. And i’m looking at a graded lab report right now, he crossed of “-OH” and wrote hydroxy, circled everytime i put a 'C instead of degree and gave me 0 credit on NMR because I forgot to put in one of the Ns on a nitrogenous ring even though it was obviously a stupid mistake and not something I did on purpose. And no partial credit on any of the questions or the discussion questions - ever.</p>
<p>And no he’s not skinny. Asian, glasses, looks like you’d expect him to given that personality description? lol.</p>
<p>Were you in pimentel for 3bl final of 3b lecture this morning for evals? He was the asian guy with the glasses that was doing the talking in both cases. Just from his voice you can tell he is a *****.</p>

<p>No I have Allyson. She is pretty nice (averages are like 10-11), but sometimes she can be a stickler. Like we get points off if we say hydrogens or carbons on NMR discussion because “actually you are measuring the protons and not atoms.” Like really who gives a ****? Also even if my paper is perfect she will still try to find something to mark me down on so I can never get a 12…I topped out at like 11.8.</p>

<p>She was so easy compared to Terence… Are you in her Wednesday morning lab? Because I heard Terence *****ed at her and got her upset a few of times for not clearing out of the room in time for our lab or something.</p>

I heard Lauren was pretty hard too. Every time I ask her a question she asks me one back and I just feel kinda dumb if I can’t answer it.</p>
