Can I get a 60 Raw and get a 700? The Blue Book says even 59 Raw = 700

Bump Please LOL

Hmm not sure but i heard the curve got harder. I think 60 sounds somewhere there.

Can someone calc my score? 9 wrong , 3 omit (70 raw swcore)

Hey, did anyone else notice that the test ended with #70, instead of #69 like it always seemed to??

Yeah, that was weird!? I think there was only 15 TTCE instead of 16 like there are on some practice tests.

does ANYONE know ANY old chemistry curves or what the blue book says? And I don't mean how many is an 800 lol, I mean like other how many is 700, 720, 740, etc.

And SportDX my Barron's book says that 60-55= 720-700, and 65-60=740-720, but considering for Barron's that a 75-85=800, their scale is more generous than CB.

So my guess is 680-720 range, depending on their scale.

Does anyone know what the blue book says for raw score of 74-75 ish?

Oh, in that case it was the same 85 questions as usual. I forgot about the TTCEs.

I have my PR and Barron's books right in front of me, and they both have curves. What raw score or whatever should I look up?

PR says 59 raw is 700.

please look up 74/75!! thanks =)

what score would 4 wrong and 0 blank give me?

btw barron's curve is not even close to right, i don't know about PR.

anyone know from collegeboard experience?

bumb anyone have a blue booooook!?

and im pretty sure PR's curve is too generous as well. Its approx. 82/81 omit = 800, and both of them list 800 around 75/80 ish

From my CB book:

78-85: 800
76-77: 790
74-75: 780
72-73: 770
70-71: 760
68-69: 750
67: 740
65-66: 740
63-64: 720
61-62: 710
59-60: 700

So, 59 raw is in the clear.

^^ that gives me hope!! thanks!!

Here's the PR curve:

79-85: 800
78: 790
73-77: 780
71-72: 770
69-70: 750
66-68: 740
64-65: 730
61-63: 710
59-60: 700

49: 650

41: 600

Yea but is the CB book definitely correct? Because if they're even one raw point off, then I'm done for.

If you guys are wondering, i'm contemplating canceling my score if i assume lower than 700.

And is there ANY WAY for 58 Raw to be a 700?

I took the test last month, and got a 710/700 from the blue book. I got a 760 on the actual test-- I don't know if this was just an anomaly or something, but the same thing could happen for you.

Adding onto that, one of my friends got the same scores on practice tests, and ended up with 670. Another (dumb) friend was getting 400 on practice tests, and also ended up with a 670. In my class, the scores were really erratic.

yes a 58 could = 700+. But that blue book curve looks a little lenient, since everyone seems to say 81 pts = 800. But there are so many rumors you never do know. How many are you sure you got wrong? I would add 1 or 2 to that number in case you made stupid mistakes.

wait is that curve from the newer or older SAT 2 book?

Ooh good question.

You see, that's just the thing. i have No LEEWAY for that. Thats why I need the whole test to be compiled lol.
