<p>What about the one that went "NO2(g) --> NO + O2+ heat" or something that asked what would happen if the system was placed in ice water. Choices were:</p>

again..my answer was III only..i'm pretty confident about that..plus that guy in the thread who talked about it being such an easy question said III only too...so pretty certain.</p>
<p>I remember doing a few of these problems in the PR AP Chem exam workbook. I think the reasoning goes something like this...</p>
<p>The rxn is exothermic due to the "---> + heat" indication. Decreasing temperature favors the exothermic direction of the rxn, which is just the way it's written currently. Since the products are favored, the reactant's [] will decrease so the products can form.</p>
