Chemistry June 2016 Regents

What are everyone’s thoughts? The test is tomorrow.

.

I got 9 A’s 16 B’s 14 C’s and 11 D’s

Not too sure about Part A, Part B-1 was very easy in my opinion. Did anyone else have a weird pattern of a lot of B’s and some A’s on questions somewhere like 8-16?

I felt like I did pretty well Chemistry is by far my strongest subject

Towards the end of the multiple choice, I got 3 of the same choice in a row.

What did you get for #11, the question where the sample goes from STP to 72K ? Temperature, density, volume, mass

which property increased

Which question was that?

Answers are up at http://www.kentchemistry.com/RegentsExams/regents_jun_2016.htm
Some I can tell have been typed incorrectly by accident, but most of them are correct.

Anyways the curve for Chemistry seems to be really small, way smaller than for example living environment.

Yeah some of the answers up on that website are incorrect, I got like 7 MC incorrect…

Let’s pray for a good curve this year.

I also got a lot incorrect  http://www.nysedregents.org/Chemistry/616/chem62016-cc.pdf the curve doesn’t seem to be too good. In comparison Living Environment needs 40 questions to pass, Chemistry needs 50.

Damn, for the short response where it asked which one is a chemical change
I put the one with the burn, I’m pretty sure that is correct too

I think I got a 96 tried for a 100 but oh well

Isn’t the curve represented by the raw score conversion chart?

A 96 is VERY good. & yeah the curve is represented by the conversion chart.

I didn’t want to be vague and put down fission for the last one. My cousin put down radioactive decay. But isn’t radioactive decay wrong as well?

What did you guys put down for #43- it’s on kent chemistry… That would be the only one I got wrong in MC… and the thing that they put for an explanation, I never learned about… plus- is the radiation in the last short answers Gamma Rays??
