Right now I'm trying to get into Market Research because I don't want to work in a lab. The pay is definitely decent depending on the company. I also have a Math minor but not sure if it will help.
What do you guys think? Does anyone know more about this?

Having been a former market research assistant, computer skill’s definitely helps, such as excel, sometimes access, powerpoint, etc. Knowledge of different types of businesses, as well as economies also help. After all, you will need to know about the countries and their systems that your company is trying to sell their products to. I could go on and on. But that might give you an idea of what to expect when going into market research.

ahh thanks for the reply. I actually got an job offer as a Market Reserach Assistant (even without an interview lol) after graduation. I will be most likely conducting surveys and managing data to assist with analyzing private equity firms. It seems like a low-paying job, not that I care considering this economy and I don’t want to get into Chemistry. Do you think getting this job will lead to a good career? Or is it a dead-end job? My biggest concern is that I don’t know if I’ll be able to become a market researcher with a degree in Chemistry.

No its definitely not a dead end. Even in the business world, you have to start somewhere. When I was finished with my marketing assistant internship, I was offered a full time job as a Market Researcher/Analyst which commands a decent salary. The business world loves experience, so even if you do start off with a somewhat low salary, you will be able to work up the corporate ladder. Keep in mind though that if you do want to go for the higher Managerial positions, a MBA will most likely be needed.

^Thanks for the reply. It was very helpful.
